The structure was painted white with stained redwood accents to create a striking contrast. Designed on a deck floor and critter-proof fencing, this catio ensures safety and comfort for six feline residents. The interior includes wrap-around shelves, 2 cubbies, 1 hammocks, and 2 cat ramps. Additionally, it features a tunnel leading directly to a window, offering seamless access for the cats. The design incorporates natural elements like a clear roof and plenty of climbing opportunities, making it a stimulating and relaxing retreat for both older and younger cats.

The Modern Retreat is a sleek custom catio measuring 14 ft deep, 7 ft wide, and up to 8 ft tall, designed with a contemporary aesthetic that blends functionality and style. Built from cedar lumber and finished in a bold black paint or stain with careful caulking, this structure is as durable as it is striking. Inside, cats enjoy a fully decked-out space featuring multiple shelves, ramps, cozy cubbies, and a natural scratch post for endless climbing and play. A cantilever deck creates a floating effect, complemented by composite decking for a polished modern look. The enclosure is secured with black PVC-coated 1x1 fencing and topped with a classic ribbed steel metal roof for lasting protection.
