Designed for simplicity, strength, and seamless integration, this custom outdoor cat enclosure is a 12-foot-wide by 4-foot-deep custom enclosure that runs along the side of a sunroom addition. Built with pressure-treated lumber and ½” x ½” black PVC-coated critterfencing, this secure enclosure ensures lasting protection against the elements and small intruders. The catio connects directly to an existing doggie door, allowing cats to move freely between the home and their outdoor haven. A sturdy metal roof partially covers the structure while preserving window access and natural light. Inside, multiple shelves and ramps encourage climbing and exploration, with two elevated cubbies featuring small viewing windows for cozy lounging. With no added floor—utilizing the existing concrete surface—the design maintains a clean, practical finish. Completed with a framed base to prevent digging and a human-access door for easy entry.
