This enclosure is a sturdy 16 sq ft freestanding catio designed to withstand high winds while giving cats a safe, enriching outdoor retreat. Built on a solid deck base with pressure-treated lumber and enclosed with black PVC-coated 1x1 critter fencing, this catio is both durable and secure. Its open-air design uses fencing for the roof, as it sits beneath a covered area, allowing for airflow and natural light. Inside, four ramps create opportunities for climbing, exploring, and lounging, giving cats the stimulation they crave.
Kapolei, HI Painted Pressure Treated Catio
Designed to blend seamlessly with the home’s architecture, this catio transforms half of an existing patio into a safe and stylish outdoor haven for cats. Built with durable pressure-treated lumber for ground contact and Douglas fir framing finished with a clean, painted look, this enclosure combines strength and elegance. The 1x1 black PVC-coated critterfencing provides security while maintaining open visibility. Inside, multiple shelves and ramps create vertical adventure zones, complemented by two cozy cat cubbies for lounging or napping. A secure human-access door allows easy entry, while the catio’s integration with the patio ensures a natural extension of the home’s living space.
