The Sky Lounge
Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, The Sky Lounge is a spacious, freestanding custom catio designed for desert views and feline adventure. Measuring 15 feet wide, 7 feet deep, and 8 feet tall, this open-air structure sits just above a 6-foot fence line, giving cats a perfect perch to overlook their surroundings. Crafted from pressure-treated lumber and enclosed with black PVC-coated 1x1 welded wire, it connects to the home via a 30–40 foot tunnel that weaves beneath windows and rises overhead like a bridge. Inside, cats can explore an exciting mix of features: ramps, shelves, two cubbies, two bubble domes, two rope bridges, a floor-to-ceiling scratching post, and dual outdoor litter areas. Left unfinished for a natural look, The Sky Lounge offers a blend of rustic charm and elevated adventure — a breezy backyard retreat built for curious climbers and sunseekers alike.
