Las Cruces, NM Pressure Treated Catio
This freestanding catio in Las Cruces, NM—known as The Sky Lounge—is built for both adventure and serenity. Measuring 15 feet wide, 7 feet deep, and 8 feet tall, the open-air structure rises just above a 6-foot fence, offering the ultimate perch for curious cats to observe their surroundings. Constructed from pressure-treated lumber and enclosed with black PVC-coated 1x1 welded wire, it’s connected to the home via a 30–40 foot tunnel that winds beneath windows and lifts overhead like a feline sky bridge. Inside, cats enjoy ramps, shelves, two cubbies, bubble domes, rope bridges, a floor-to-ceiling scratching post, and dual outdoor litter zones. Unfinished for a natural, rustic look, this catio blends structure, freedom, and fun into one elevated backyard escape.
Santa Fe, NM Stained Cedar Catio
Blending seamlessly with Santa Fe’s signature architecture, this enclosure is a breathtaking custom catio designed for exploration and elegance. Enclosing an existing patio, this 24-foot-long by 4-foot-deep structure extends into an elevated tunnel that is 12 feet long and 2 feet wide, allowing cats to roam high above the yard while soaking in the desert views. Crafted from rich cedar lumber and stained to match the home’s warm adobe tones, it features 1x1 black PVC-coated critterfencing with a reinforced ½-inch mesh base for extra safety. Inside, shelves, ramps, and two cat cubbies provide endless climbing and lounging opportunities, while a cat ladder leads to the trellis roof and a bubble dome offers the perfect sunbathing perch.
