The Garage Lookout
The Garage Lookout is a fully enclosed garage catio spanning approximately 20 ft wide by 4 ft deep, designed as a built-in extension of the garage to give cats a safe, elevated space for indoor enrichment and outdoor viewing. Constructed with pressure-treated lumber for ground contact, Douglas fir framing, and finished entirely in white paint for a clean, seamless look, this custom catio features a thoughtfully designed bump-out around the existing garage window to enhance sightlines and visual stimulation. Inside, the enclosure includes multiple shelves and ramps for climbing, two cozy hammocks for lounging, and a full-sized human access door, with the project encompassing complete design, all materials, and full on-site construction and installation.
